Probably no advantage over your 72 heads. Unless you prefer pedestal mount rockers over rail rockers with press in studs.

The e6ae motors didn't have e7 heads they had e6 heads that are junk. The spark plug is at like a 45 degree angle, around a nub, and pointed directly at the exhaust valve. It's like the spark is hidden from the intake valve. Someone must have cracked a head or something and changed before I got the motor.

The valves are recessed so far up inside the head that they are severely shrouded and there's really not enough room to put even a 1.94/1.50 valve in there without lots of grinding. The E7TE is the better head. Mustang owners, racers, magazine editors, etc. would talk, compare, race E6 heads if they were better.

The GT40P is an anomoly, being a designation used for both production and aftermarket performance heads. The only difference in later (post '77) 302 and 351W heads are the bolt holes.
