Web28 de ago. de 2024 · Like someone else said, it probably sounds weird to you because the original song is a half step down, so every note is too high but you’re focusing on the high E because it’s the highest note being played. The ‘tinny’ sound comes from you not fretting all the way, and wasn’t a big problem in this clip. Web29 de dez. de 2013 · You need to check the intonation. If you have tuned your open strings but when you play notes or chords it sounds 'off' then your string lengths are likely to be wrong. For each string, play the harmonic at the 12th fret, then play the string fretted at the 12th fret. The two notes should be exactly the same.

The wiring should be checked if you know what you’re doing. If you have a guitar, take it to someone who can check it for you.
